I was originally born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and lived there until the age of 14. I lived in Texas for the following 10 years after that and obtained my B.Sc. in chemistry at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Working in the Center for Innovative Drug Discovery, I developed novel small molecules for the treatment of Ebola and made novel substrates for the detection and quantification of the enzyme leukocyte esterase. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and watching new television shows.
