I was born in California; however, most of my life I was raised in Colorado. I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for my undergraduate studies, and I graduated with a B.A in Biochemistry and Chemistry. During my time at Boulder, I worked under Professor Tarek Sammakia, where I worked on various different projects, culminating in an independent project on the synthesis of isoindoles for use in singlet fission studies. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, hiking, and exploring the area around Illinois.
